WOW Wednesday

I was feeling a little punchy, so WOW Wednesday this month featured some punch art.

Here is what we made:

Now, if you are Pinterest, you may have seen this card.  I love it!  The card AND Pinterest, but you may now be privvy to all my secrets if you follow my pins!  This is Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive.  We used the Pennant Punch and some designer paper.  The set is Outlined Occasions from the Sale a Bration Mini.

This is a very cool idea using the Postage Stamp Punch.  Colors are Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.  The stamp set is Thank you Kindly and Mixed Bouquet.  Paper is from the Sale a bration Mini.

Another Pinterest gem.   This guy is totally made out of punches!
Here is a list:
ornament- body
bird punch- 2 for wings (cut off their heads)
modern label- 2 blue for neck and 9 green for feathers
1 1/4 circle- head
5 petal flower- orange, cut a flower off for the beak
1/4 circle- 2 black for eye centers and 9 blue for feathers
boho blossoms- orange for feet
owl punch- both sizes of circles for the eyes and feathers
snowflake- for topper on his head

Now, I did add a surprise fourth project since it was punch art night and my family loves them some Angry Birds!

I copied this from this website - she has a bunch of them on there.  CLICK HERE!

Upline Meeting - part 2

At my upline meetings, she gives set samplers based on sales.  Thanks to so many of you, I get to bring home beautiful samples to share with you all.  Marie Gruber made these using the Mixed Bouquet set in the Occasions mini.....

Enjoy!

Now, my upline always has cute little favors for us at the table.  This is what she had for us this time:

Oh no she didn't!  She did......she used an empty brad/button container and made that cute little sweet tart holder!  Bet  you'll be saving all those containers now, won't ya?   I have something special planned using them as well.....but you'll have to wait until my super duper wowza yowza class at Norlo in June!

Upline Meeting

On Saturday, I loaded up my car with Heather Fabulous and Heather Marvelous (my downline) and trekked to Thurmont to my upline's meeting.  I so enjoy these meetings....we met up with another of my downline, Mandy and some of the Hagerstown ladies.

We ate, we swapped, we learned, we make n taked and I wanted to share it with you!

Here are the swaps that I brought home....they were awesome (as usual)

This last photo shows 3 of the make n takes that she had for us.  The Baby Print card is from my downline, Heather M.  The Old Olive 6x6 is a scrapbook page and we put all the different embellishements on the side- like olive glitter brad, olive button, olive flower brad, olive ribbon and regular olive brad.....even on the flower, is a pearl colored olive with a marker and then heat set (hard to see in the picture). Neat idea.

Our last 2 projects won't be seen on here.  One is a project for WOW Wednesday and the other is a post all it's own because it is too flippin' cool.

So, wouldn't you LOVE to join us at these meetings?  You can.....just sign up!  Of course, our kit is on sale during Sale a Bration and you also get a free pack of designer paper a month for a year when you sign during SAB.....just sayin'.

Enjoy!!!

February Stamp Club

It's back...and I am so happy!  January is a slow month for me.  I just enjoy the downtime from the holidays, do a couple classes and chillax with the family unit.   But, January is a looonnnggg month and I miss my stampin' peeps!    We started stamp club back up again in February and are ready for a 10 month run!

In stamp club, I tend to do fairly easy projects.  Many members have been with me for almost 10 years.....and some have never stamped before.  I never want to overwhelm new folks and it's always good to have ideas for those quick and easy, mac n cheesy cards that you can whip out....just like that.

If you are looking for more WOW, or want to step up your stamping, you may want to check out some of my other classes, such as WOW Wednesday and Mystery Monday.  I do a little more in these classes.  I also hope to more stamp camps this year.....learning how to make a specific project.   I've done these in the past with the Punch Art Album, Paperbag Scrapbooks,  Scrapbook in a Day etc....so look for those coming up.

Here is it, February 9th already and I totally forgot to put up my card of the month!

Well here it is:

On the first of each month, I will post a card that is available to you for the entire month, order as many times as you'd like.  The only thing your card won't have is the sentiment- that is customizable for your needs.

You'll receive 8 full cards with envelopes. Cards will come to you "as is"....all cutting/layering/stamping/embossing/punching etc is done.  Cards are usually fully assembled- in some cases, you may need to add a bow or pop dot an embellishment.  If I am shipping, this cuts down on bulk.

All cards will have the Angel Policy on the back to comply with Stampin' Up! rules.

Here is the card of the month for February.   All orders will be processed via Paypal....order yours today!  Please make arrangements to pick up unless you choose to have your kit shipped.

Craftin' with Kids

I love this class.   Thirteen little punks showed up on Saturday to make cards....they absolutely loved it.  Well, almost all of them.   There was a brother who was drug out of his warm bed on a Saturday morning to take the place of his sister....who forgot she was to be here.  Stamping for him.....not a top priority....but....he hung in there like a very sweet (he would HATE that I said that) little trooper.

Here is what we made:

Super cute, super quick and those kids love when they get a chance to play with Mr. Big!  This is a toned down version of another card....but I can't show you that one....yet.

Outlined Occasions...a free Sale a Bration set and perfect for those little ones....because they LOVE to color!!!!

This may have been the favorite of the day.....you gotta love googly eyes!   This was a "toned" down version of my card.

Here is what I made:

Not too different....still with the googly eyes!  I heard that a few of the ladies that came were giving this card to themselves because they loved it so much!

Now, my poor son couldn't attend because his pinewood derby race had been rescheduled from the week before.  But, I promised to have a packet for him so he could make the cards on Sunday.  And he did....he LOVES to stamp.   I think it's great that we have a "thing" we get to do together.  And I love that I have alot of Aunties who bring their nieces and nephews to kids class too....a special time, and I am sure they will remember it!

So....all you little ones....thanks for coming and I'll see you again in August!
