New Photopolymer Stamp

We continue to release new photopolymer sets now and again....these are not listed in the catalog, but are available.  It's a trial to see how we like them.  I must say....I do....they are totally clear which makes lining up super easy and they are super sticky, so they stay on the block.

To make this dry embossed card:  stamp image with stazon on and allow to try.  Turn over and place on piercing mat.  "Color" the flowers with the stylus.  Push hard, but not too hard that the stylus goes through the vellum.  It will make the image raised and puffy.

Kiss Em Goodbye Retirement Party

We all converged at Norlo Park on Saturday to say goodbye to some of our favorite stamp sets.  It's always a bittersweet time...seeing the ones we've loved for so long, retire....but then, we're so excited to welcome our new sets!

It's Paper Pumpkin Time!!!

Oh my, how I love this Paper Pumpkin!  Each month, a lovely little box of crafty goodness arrives on my doorstep!

Even though, I own just about everything you can imagine....and still want more, I do enjoy the simplicity and ease of these projects.   I needed a quick card for my "niece" at Wilson College.  I am her Aunt Sarah....kind of like a big sister program.  She was gearing up for finals this week and I wanted to send her a care package and a note......as well as getting ready for our big event at Norlo and running the Race for Education Fundraiser at Aidan's school...well, I didn't have time to sit down and "create."   Paper Pumpkin to the rescue!!!

 

I opened up April's kit......and look at that...everything I need, right there!

 

 

 

I quickly put the stamps together and saw that I had a stampin' spot, pre cut/pre scored cardstock, pre cut designer paper, ribbon, twine, pre sticky die cut stickers and envelopes!!!

 

 

 

I chose to make the card they suggested and, no lie....in less then 5 minutes, I had opened the packaged, put together my stamps and made a card.  Of course, I was thrilled to see the You Kick Booty stamp....perfect for a girl getting ready to take finals!!

This and That....Part 5

Tab is still working on her journal.  If you are attending our Kiss Em Goodbye event at Norlo on Saturday, you'll be able to see it up close and personal.  It won't be a finished project, because she is going to keep playing with it over the summer.

I have just discovered my newest and most favorite feature of this journal: the absolute simplicity of its design & pages plus the sheer joy of producing something gorgeous but in a short amount of time that fits into the busy hectic lives that we live in today :-)

 

I have been super occupied lately and feeling guilty that I have not had time to work on my This & That "Smash" Book (I did win the drawing to be Jody's guinea pig which does put me on a semi-deadline) I sent some photos to the 1-hr print shop at WalMart and worked on creating and finishing NINE pages in a single evening with the help from my Stampin' Up markers, a photo corner punch, letter stamps, washi tape, and a few misc. other items!

 

 

All I know is.....she had me at Justin Timberlake. 

 

 

 

In Colors 2013-2014

Oh my, they are gorgeous!  I just love 'em!!!!  Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush and Cantaloupe Crisp....yum!

Achiever's Night

Thanks to all of you, I was able to attend  my upline's upline's Achiever's Meeting a few weeks ago.  It was a night just to celebrate our sales and recruiting during Sale a Bration.  Here is what we made:
