Our time is almost up!

June is sailing by!  It's hard to believe that in a few short days, we'll be able to order from our gorgeous new catalog!   That means the days are numbered for our retiring sets, retiring accessories and retiring decor elements.   Many items have sold out, so check out the links below to be directed to the  most up to date lists.

The items from our summer mini are still around until the end of August.  A few of the items have moved into the new catalog, but many will be unavailable after August 31st.

Kiss Em Goodbye Party

My down line and I had our annual Kiss Em Goodbye retirement party at Norlo park last Saturday.  We had 5 make n take projects, door prizes, snacks, displays and a giant raffle basket (congratulations Sandy Hawkins)

Here are the items we made (betcha wish you were there, huh?)

This is a "quilt" card by Heather Forberger.   Use whatever size punch you prefer, some cardstock and designer paper.  Once you have your pieces assembled, run the entire thing through Mr Big with the lattice folder...which makes it look quilted.

stamp set:  fresh cuts (retiring)
cardstock:  soft suede, very vanilla, baja breeze
ink:  soft suede
accessories:  elegant soiree designer paper (retiring), small oval punch (retiring), large oval punch, scallop oval punch, 3/4 square punch (retired), lattice embossing folder, pretty in pink taffeta ribbon (retiring)

This is quick, easy gift card holder by Mandy Christman.  I don't have the measurements for this one, but you can make it any size you'd like.
stamp set:  birthday bliss (retiring)
cardstock:  wild wasabi, very vanilla, melon mambo
ink:  tangerine tango
accessories:  small/large tag punches, vanilla taffeta (retiring), beyond the garden designer paper (summer mini)

This is a neat concept made by Kathy Christman.  It's an envelope card.  Seal your envelope and trim off about 1 inch on the short side (keep this piece for your top).   Stamp the large part of the envelope, sponge edges and run through the crimper.  Inside the envelope, goes your little note card.

stamp set:  curly verses (retiring), butterfly is from Bliss, which was a sale a bration set
cardstock:  rich razzleberry, daffodil delight and very vanilla
accessories:  daffodil taffeta (retiring) and basic rhinestones, crimper, sponge

This fantastic creation is a Neverending card by Heather Forberger.  I have NO idea how she did it, but she said it's not hard.  I'll take her word for it.

stamp set:  bugs and kisses (retiring)
cardstock:  real, red, daffodil delight, tempting turquoise, early espresso
ink:  basic black, old olive
accessories:  triple layer blossom punch (summer mini), playdate designer paper, pinking hearts punch, extra large flower punch.

I will post my project in a separate post with instructions so you can re-create it.
Enjoy!!!

Stamp Club Sneak Peek

This is one of the projects we are making for stamp club in June.  I'm going to post it early since Father's Day is this weekend and this is a perfect little gem for your cards!

Here are the instructions to make these cut orgami shirts:

designer series paper (used Jolly Holiday) cut 4 inches x 6 inches

with 4 inch side at the top of your scoring tool- score at 1 inch and 3 inches (gently so as not to rip your paper)
turn 1/4 turn and score one end  at 1/2 inch.

fold both 1 inch flaps in to the center of the designer paper.   Fold  1/2 inch score backwards....make sure to use bone folder to make all folds crisp.

Fold the edges in to meet the seam in the middle.  Should resemble a collar.

Turn around and fold the flaps out.  Again, use bone folder to make nice, sharp creases.

Fold the bottom flaps up to meet the "collar."  Slip the edge underneath the collar and crease the fold.

Thanks to Cambria Turnbow at STAMP A LITTLE LOVE BABY for the idea!

Raffle Basket Winner

Hey folks,
I am recovering from our big Norlo event...if you attended yesterday, thanks so much for coming!  I think it was a success!  And, I'm frantically trying to get things put away in my new refrigerator (we've been without for quite a few days) and clean my house up (both vacuum cleaners were broken for a few weeks) and....get ready for stamp club this coming week!  Whew!

I will be posting our items from Norlo on here sometime...so hang in there.

In the meantime, my lovely daughter drew the winner for the grand prize raffle basket and it is:  Sandy Hawkins!    Awesome Sandy....you're gonna love it!    Sandy is a customer of my downline, Mandy.  So, we'll hook up and get that basket to her so she can play with her new goodies!

NEW CATALOG and special offer!

my free copy of the new catalog showed up today!  I have spent the last 2 hours browsing and making a wish list a mile long!

I technically, can show you samples I make and I'll get cracking on that soon (as soon as I'm prepared for our Norlo Kiss Em Goodbye party on Saturday) and I technically, can give you your new copy after June 20th.  So, you won't have too long to wait.

One thing I am happy to report is that our new Ronald McDonald House charity stamp set (Turtle & Co) is so adorable.  If you love frogs and turtles, you'll love this one!    And, Stampin' Up! increased their donation amount and will be giving $3.00 from the sale of each set to RMHC.  They have already given over 1 million to date!  Yeah SU!

Now, one of the most exciting things about this catalog is that our hostess awards have changed!!!!  I am so happy about this!  Not that our old ones were bad, but this gives you sooooo much more freedom!  Starting with this catalog on July 1st, when you host a workshop, you earns hostess dollars to spend anyway you'd like.

We still offer exclusive hostess sets, but instead of levels, they are assigned dollar amounts.  They are still being offered at less then what they would normally cost.

If your workshop is $150, you earn $25.00 in hostess dollars, which you can spend on exclusive sets OR anything you want out of the catalog!  YEAH!!!!

Now, when your party reaches $400, you earn hostess dollars ($65 to be exact) AND 1 item of your choice at 50% off (how great would it be if you could get Mr. Big, the ink pad caddy or even the marker set for 50% off!!!)

When your party reaches $500, you earn $80.00 free AND 2 items for 50% off!  AWESOME!

So, to celebrate our new hostess rewards, I am offering a brand new stamp set, called Pennant Parade to the first person who contacts me to book a party after July 1st.  C'mon, you know you want to!  You'll get your very own copy of the new catalog for FREE, a FREE stamp set and the normal hostess benefits!  Contact me today!

Uh-oh

After seeing the Last Chance list yesterday, I went through my stamp room and started getting ready.  I pulled out all my sets that will be leaving at the end of the month.  Oh dear.

This is just my sets.....no accessories.   Whew!  Yardsale is looking good for this year.

Next, I went through my sample basket and pulled out my retiring set samplers.  Oh dear.

Guess I have some work to do!  I need to get displays ready for our Norlo event.

And I guess I have some shopping to do!  Old Mother Hubbard's cupboards are bare!
