One more sleep

Until we see the Last Chance List.  I am always excited to see the list.....and sad at the same time. It never fails to have one or two of my all time favorite-ist, can't live without it stamp sets on it, but once the new catalog rolls around, I find a brand new, all time, favorite-ist, can't live without it stamp set to kiss and hug and call my own.

Due to the Last Chance List....I am able to have my yearly stampin and scrappin yard sale in August.  Everyone is invited to sell items and everyone is invited to buy items.  I take over my garage, throw in the window A/C unit and put up many, many, many tables of stamping and scrapping items (not all SU by the way)  More info will come on that later.

So, here's how it will go down tomorrow- I'll post the Last Chance List here, on facebook and it will be emailed to my mailing list customers (if you aren't one of them,  contact me today!)  We have until June 30th to get these sets, after that.....they are gone.....for-ev- ver.  Or you might find them on ebay for double the price!

The retiring accessories list will be announced as well and, let me tell you, if it's anything like years past, this stuff goes like wildfire!  I will get an updated list every day to see what is selling out, but I would encourage you to order it immediately via my website (www.jodybrechbill.stampinup.net) if there is something you must have.  Always check the clearance rack while you are there....lots of good deals and you can save on shipping.

The Decor Elements will have LOTS of retiring items this year because we are moving that line into the Idea Book and Catalog.  We no longer will have a separate catalog for these items.  The line will be a little lighter than in the past, so look for many retiring items this year.

As always, I am offering my own personal special during Last Chance Days:  purchase 3 retiring sets, get a 4th at 1/2 price or purchase 4 retiring sets and get a 5th one for free.  (50% off/Free is off lowest priced set)

So, get ready a good night's sleep....and I'll see you in the morning!

Bye, Bye, Bye

Our annual Kiss Em Goodbye retirement party is just around the corner, don't forget to RSVP today.  This event will focus on saying goodbye to some of our beloved stamp sets, so we can make room for our new favorite ones.

You don't want to miss our 5 WOW make n takes including this one:  an accordion file card holder.

We'll have lots of doorprizes, displays, refreshments and of course....we'll be giving away a grand raffle basket worth over $100!

The event is at Norlo Park in Fayetteville and will be held on June 11th from 9am-noon.  Cost is $25.00 and includes all of the above plus a coupon to be used that day on your order (over $30.00)

As always, I am running my own special on retiring sets:  purchase 3 retiring sets, get the 4th at 1/2 price OR purchase 4 retiring sets and get the 5th free (1/2 price/free is off the lowest priced set)

Be sure to check back here on June 1st to see the Last Chance list of stamps, decor elements and accessories.

The last chance list for stamps will be good through June 30th, however, accessories are while they last.  If you see something you MUST have, I'd encourage you to order it via my website.  Check out the clearance rack while you are there- always some good deals there!

Hope to see you at Norlo on June 11th!

Stamp Club- May

We just finished club for May and even though I went all sterile and over used white....I still think our projects turned out loverly.

stamp set:  bold blossom (summer mini)
ink:  melon mambo, pear pizazz. daffodil delight
cardstock:  whisper white
accessories:  popdots, blossom triple layer punch (summer mini), 1/4 inch circle punch, paper piercer, mat pack

This is the set I won at my last meeting....and I'll admit, I glanced over it in the mini...but now I just love it.  It's a small set, only 4 images and perfect for water coloring.

stamp set:  on the grow (summer mini)
ink:  stazon black, so saffron, regal rose, basic gray, certainly celery, bashful blue
cardstock:  very vanilla, certainly celery, watercolor paper
accessories:  texturez plates for Mr. Big, certainly celery grosgrain ribbon, basic rhinestones, blender pens

This one has a bit of a trick.....notice that we used the Framed Tulip embossing folder and made it two different sizes?  Things that make you go hmmmm......

stamp set:  fabulous florets (summer mini), on your birthday
ink:  wild wasabi, versamark
cardstock:  whisper white, melon mambo, wild wasabi
accessories:  framed tulip embossing folder, melon mambo embossing powder

cut whisper white 4 1/4 x 3.  One side of the folder is smaller than the other- use this side and place in embossing folder with long edge right at the hinge and both short sides along the edges of the folder.   Run the cardstock through 1/2 way.  Roll back out.
Without flipping the cardstock, turn it around and line up the already embossed tulips on the folder.  Run through again, but only 1/2 way.   Taa Dah!

Enjoy!

I've got a feeling

That today's gonna be a good, good day. My nerves are getting better and I was cleared from my neurologist today and I never have to go back!  I also finished my 2010 scrapbook...totally digital.  I've raved many times on here about how much I love digital.  But, you know ANOTHER reason for loving digital.  We've been having some tornado warnings around here lately and that got me thinking....if I have to take cover in my gross basement, what do I take with me?  I mean, besides my children, I would take them.  I thought about my scrapbooks...that's all I have....it's my life in paper.  And paper doesn't hold up well to high winds and torrential downpours.  If I lost my scrapbooks, I would feel that I lost my past.  And you can't get that back.

Now, I have all my pictures on my computer, many are digitally scrapbooked and saved on 2 drives.  If I had my hard drive, all I would have to do is re print all my pages....I wouldn't have to recreate anything!  Genius!!!  I'm so in love with My Digital Studio!

So, I'll share the love with some more swap samples:

I also will share a few of my favorite pages using MDS:

The Open Sea

At my meeting last week, I earned a set sampler based around this set.  Which I didn't buy....and now am sorry I didn't buy it.  I did, however, get the matching paper and the digital download for this set....so I can recreate some of these.

All of the samples were made by Lynn Peters ....who does gorgeous work.  I don't know if it will show up, but many of the samples have glitter or are misted with our smooch spritz.  I LOVE that my upline does this.  I think I would rather get samplers than products!

Quarterly Meeting

I went to my upline's quarterly meeting yesterday in Thurmont, Md.  Since today is Mother's Day, I had to share my proud "mommy" moment.   We received doorprize tickets for each downline that we brought along.  I was so happy to look down my table and realize that I had SIX of my gals there!

My upline does a fabulous job with her meetings and I am so happy to have many new local ladies who can attend with me!  I have a few girls in Maryland, West Virginia and Connecticut <waving to those girls now>  and it's hard for them to get to the meetings.

I did receive some recognition at the event and wanted to share it with you all!  It is because of you- my wonderful customers, who support my business.  I received a few stamp sets and a set sampler of The Open Sea for my sales in February, March and April.   I was thinking about my sales during those months and realizing how blessed I am that my business continued to thrive during a time when my illness had prevented me from doing my "normal" classes and workshops.  Wow!  Stampin' Up! is truely what God has in mind for me....he continues to provide me with great customers and recruits who become great friends!

So---when I benefit from you......you will benefit from me!

Here is what I earned at my meeting:

I happen to have these stamps already.....so let's do a special Mother's Day giveaway!  Just leave me a comment below and tell me your favorite item from the Summer Mini Catalog and your name will be entered into a drawing...where I'll be giving away each of these stamps!   Drawing will be held on Tuesday morning.  Good Luck!

I don't have this one, so I'll keep it.  But, I promise that I'll let you all use it soon!

Summer Mini Swap

It happened again!  I teamed up with some of my downline and local "sidelines" and we held a swap for the summer mini!  Oh boy!  Not only are the samples to die for...but we sent our projects to each person individually.  Well....no one had to bribe me to go get the mail!  It was like Christmas...all these beautiful cards in the mail everyday.  General consensus is- we loved it so much, we hope to do it every month!

Here ya go!  And you better get a pen and paper, cuz you're gonna want to place a big order!!!
