Like, Wow!

Wow, my wow is a bit behind.  I had my first wow in a long time and it was like....totally wow.   I promised pictures, so here ya go:

This is a technique called Faux Silk and is very easy to do:

stamp set:  Awash with Flower, Punch Pals, Teahouse background stamp
ink:  so saffron, wild wasabi, basic gray, marina mist, peach parfait
cardstock:  so saffron, whisper white, marina mist
accessories:  tissue paper, glue sticks, eyelet border punch, wide oval punch

stamp images on tissue paper and crumple up.  Apply glue stick to cardstock and adhere tissue paper keeping bumps and wrinkles.

Punch art flower

stamp set:  punch pal, button button
ink:  baja breeze, certainly celery
cardstock:  whisper white, certainly celery, baja breeze, glossy white
accessories:  3/4 circle punch, large oval punch, modern label punch, lattice embossing folder, crimper, pokey tool

this is my original sample that I went off of for the punch art card.

Wow...really, if you see this in person, that's what you'd say.
Crayon Resist Technique

stamp sets:  elements of style
ink:  stazon black, blushing bride
cardstock:  glossy white, basic black, blushing bride, whisper white
accessories:  large oval punch, scallop oval punch, brayer, crayons

Stamp image with stazon on glossy white cardstock...allow to dry.  Any image you want to remain white, color with crayon.  Brayer color over glossy cardstock.  Remove crayon with a tissue.

Enjoy!
