Think Spring Stamp a Stack

My girls and I held our first Norlo Park event of 2012 yesterday.  Our annual Think Spring Stamp a Stack.  We had a great turnout and great projects!

We also did something a little different,  if you brought non perishable items for the local food bank, you got an extra door prize ticket.  A win-win!  We took a nice size box to them yesterday afternoon.  Look for this more often....I like the idea of us giving back!  (and I'll try to send a reminder next time...totally slipped my mind!)

If you attended Norlo, thanks so much for coming, I love our events, it's just a great time.  Just as a heads up, our next event will be June 23rd at the community center.  Also, we do have to make a few changes.....I know we all don't like change, but we have to roll with the times.  Norlo has gone up considerably in price- I love the location, I love the building and the folks are VERY easy to work with, so we are going to continue our events there, but you'll see a price increase for the remainder of this year.   We haven't increased in price in years- and we did have a price jump in card stock last year, but still managed to keep it at $25, but for this year, we are going to bump up to $30 for norlo events.

We hope this won't make too much of a difference to you all, but with this little increase, we hope to be able to continue offering coupons, still offering a great selection of make n takes as well as have adhesive for you to use there.

The other change we are going to implement is that for all events, we'll ask our guests to bring a snack to share.  We do this at some and not others, so some of you are confused as to what we do at which event.  So.....to make things easier on the demos who work frantically on the make n takes, we'll just ask that everyone bring a small snack at each event.   We'll provide all drinks and paper products.

And, as I mentioned before- we'd like to continue our "give back" idea and we'll continue to have our guests bring an item for the food bank.  It's totally optional, so participate if you choose.  If you do, however, you get an extra door prize ticket.  Some one has to win, right?

So....thanks for reading all that and I hope we'll see ya in June at Norlo!

Since you hung in there....blog candy time!  I used a bunch of the Sale a Bration brads on my project and am left with the ribbon.  So,  if you leave a comment for me, you'll be entered into a drawing to win a ribbon pack of 1/8 organdy ribbon in Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral (10 yrds on each roll).  I'll do the drawing on Wednesday morning.  You can leave a message here, on facebook or email me.  Good Luck!
