Hostess Appreciation Night

Every 6 months, I like to have a special night for all my past hostesses.  Just my way of saying....hey, thanks!  I really do appreciate all the support I receive through the year....so, last night, my January- June hostesses showed up for a night of FREE stamping, just for them.  They receive a personal invitation, 3 free make n takes and free shipping on their orders that night.

Here is what they made:

This is gorgeous, right?
stamp set:  Everything Eleanor, Flower Shop and Express Yourself (hostess set)
cardstock:  very vanilla, basic black, smoky slate, modern medley designer paper (on sale -buy 3, get 1 free until August 1st)
ink: stazon black, smoky slate
accessories:  fancy fan embossing folder, pansy punch, pearls, white taffeta ribbon, stampin' dimensionals.

so, you say.....how come you say white taffeta and it looks gray to me?  well....our taffeta ribbon is able to be dyed!!!  cut the size you need, lay it in the ink pad and tap it with our sponge daubers.  you will want to allow it some drying time.  I usually give it over night....it dries lighter as well.

and while you're at it....dye a pearl!!!  our large pearls were colored with a black sharpie!
awesome right????

this is easy peasy lemon squeezy....so fun and bright.
stamp set:  a round array
cardstock:  pool party, whisper white, daffodil delight, strawberry slush and quintessential designer paper (also on sale- buy 3, get 1 free until August 1st)
ink:  island indigo
accessories:  mosaic embossing folder, chevron embossing folder, polkadot embossing folder, 7/8 scallop punch, 1 inch circle punch, 1 3/4 inch circle punch, stampin' dimensionals

I really love this one...and you can't quite see the cool centers of the daisies :(
(this was inspired from mary fish)

stamp set:  sassy salutations, best of flowers (25th anniversary special set)
cardstock:  daffodil delight, early espresso, whisper white, brights designer paper pack
ink:  early espresso
accessories: 1 1/4 inch scallop punch, circle punch from itty bitty punch pack, ribbon scallop punch, early espresso marker (for little dots around saying), glue dots (mini) and early espresso stitched grosgrain ribbon

So...punch our 3 full flowers using the scallop punch, then stamp 3 flower centers.  punch out using the small circle from itty bitty punch pack.  attach the center on the full flower with a glue dot and cover with crystal effect.  allow to dry overnight...you'll love it!

Now...housekeeping!  Thanks to all of you who keep following me!  The blog candy winner is.....Danielle Davis!!!  Way to go, Danielle, a box of fun is coming your way!
