Hostess Appreciation Night

Tonight was a special night for my January through June hostesses.  I  hold a "free" night of stamping to thank you for supporting me all year long.  Without my customers.....I can not do what I love....and I thank you! 

Here are the projects we did:

Out With The Old....In With The New

I mentioned in a previous post that Stampin' Up! came out with new pads with this catalog.....and I must say- I am smitten.  I bought our new in colors in firm, foam pads....just to try out.  They are wonderful....such rich, vibrant color and the coverage- be still my heart!  So, I took a leap of faith that my annual yard sale would be a success and I invested in ALL NEW INK PADS!  <gasp>

I just finished affixing all the labels on them and my caddy is filled up and I'm ready to stamp.  I love that we have our labels back!  They are on the bottom of the pad in 4 different languages....pick the language that suits you, stick it on and your good to go!    I went with english.   But I do have to say that Murmure Marin and PFlaumenblau do have a certain ring to them.

So....that means that ALL my ink pads are in the yard sale this year!  I am going to bundle them with their re inker....so if you are missing one or two for your collection, stop by!

Yard sale at my house on Saturday, August 18th from 9am- noon and August 19th from 6-8pm.  Bring your own bag and shop till you drop!  TONS of stamping and scrapbooking items....brand new and some previously loved....at great prices!

Speaking of new.......My Digital Studio 2 comes out on August 1st.  You do know that August is on Wednesday, right?  Hard to think about...but true!  This is a $19.95 upload to those of you who already have it.  It contains no digital content, but over 75 new features that make it sooooo much better!  I can't wait!  If you haven't been introduced to our paper crafting software- let me know...we'll talk.

As I was out looking for ideas to case....I came across this gorgeous-ness and had to stop everything and make it.  It's actually very easy- and with all the bada-bing...it's just beautiful in person.  To give credit where credit is due....I'll link up the blog where I found it.  She has a tutorial.

Reason to Smile

We sure do have a reason to smile these last couple days....we've had rain!  A welcome sight for a dairy farm in the middle of a dry summer!

FINALLY!

I have been diligently working in my stamp room for 2 days trying to get the creativity flowing....I have a box full of new Holiday Mini goodies and need to create some set samplers to show you all this wonderful new stuff! 

While working, I pulled out my new Stampin' Scrub......I have to stop for a minute to tell you all how much I love our new version!  The old one had a few design flaws....and SU knew it.  It had even been discontinued for a little while as they worked out some problems.   I know first hand....because I own three of them and all three are broken at the hinges and the pads won't stay in the holders anymore. 

I was a bit skeptical when I saw this new one.....but, Stampin' Up! hasn't let me down yet, so I put it on my first order.  Well.......

I love it!

First of all...it just feels more durable.  It's a thicker plastic maybe?  Has metal hinges and better placement.   It's bigger- 7x7 now (great for those big background stamps).  It's still double sided with little rain drops to tell you the wet side and a little sun to tell you the dry side.  The black fiber scrub pads are more plush and do a better job cleaning those detail stamps.  The pads are still washable.....just run it under warm tap water and let dry.   And each side has little grippy feet so as your cleaning....it doesn't move on the table!

so....two thumbs up for this one!  Add it to your wish list.
